Teaching, Research, & Mentorship Postdoctoral Fellow, Davidson Honors College, 
University of Montana, 2019-current

  • Instructor of qualitative, quantitative, & mixed model research methods and special topics honors courses(HONR 320E; HONR 495, PSYX 391.80, PSYX 250N.80).

  • Continue to develop my research scholarship, design, program, and implement empirical, novel research.

  • Advise students on how to find and apply established research to the QUEST (Questions for Undergraduates Exploring Social Topics) project (HONR 495) and help them develop a implementable proposal for the Office of the Mayor. Topic: What is the appropriate role of local government in the prevention and treatment of drug and alcohol addiction?

  • Mentor honors students 1:1 across all majors in qualitative and quantitative capstone research projects.

 

Graduate Research Assistant, Department of Psychology, Iowa State University, 2015-2019

  • Designed, programmed, and implemented empirical, novel research from beginning to end including data collection and coding, and analyzed complex quantitative data.

  • Wrote manuscripts for publication in major journals (see publications below). 

  • Presented research by designing and giving talks and posters at international conferences.

  • Managed several interdisciplinary research labs which included recruiting RAs, organizing multiple studies and schedules, training, and 1:1 mentoring, research assistants.

  • Collaborated with students and professors from multiple universities (international and interdisciplinary).

  • Guest lectured, assisted instructors, and mentored students for several upper and lower division psychology courses.
